The Sandyford Hall RA wish to congratulate our recently elected local Councillors in the Glencullen-Sandyford Local Electoral Area (LEA). Five of the seven incumbent Councillors from the 2019-2024 period were re-elected with the addition of Kevin Daly (Ind) and Pierce Dargan (FG) in the 7-seat ward. Kazi Ahmed (FG), Kevin Daly (Ind), Pierce Dargan (FG), Michael Fleming (Ind), Lettie McCarthy (Lab), Tom Murphy (FF) and OisÃn O’Connor (GP).
Residents Associations work with Councillors at various levels to seek support and funding for projects within their area with the Councillors acting as sponsors at the planning, design and funding level. Many of our Councillors engage at a personal level taking time out to support estate cleanups or providing time and guidance on planning questions and make themselves available to the residents. This support works both ways as they ask for our support at the polls when they seek re-election.
